“Rīgas satiksme” clients are positive about route maps at public transport stops
A majority of respondents, 57% in total, admitted using maps at public transport stops as these maps help them to see all the routes. 32% do not look at maps because they know the necessary routes well enough, and 11% have not noticed the maps so far, but now will certainly pay attention to them. 1138 respondents participated in the survey.
“Rīgas satiksme” in cooperation with “Karšu izdevniecība Jāņa sēta” has developed route maps on which all tram, trolleybus and bus routes, as well as urban objects are marked, so that Riga residents and guests could better orientate themselves in Riga public transport network. The maps are available at all of approximately 300 newly designed public transport stops.
“Rīgas satiksme” reminds that separate maps with tram, trolleybus and bus routes are available on the company’s website and can be printed out easily. There is also a route planner on the website, which enables users to find their location both by stops and various urban objects.
